Playforrank has two parts. Free Ranks gives anyone a free 2-hour pass to play three browser games and compete on their live leaderboard — no payment, no account. The Category Leaderboard lets you pay to claim or outbid a ranked position for your website or handle in a category of your choice (minimum $5, no subscription, no recurring charge — each claim is a single, separate purchase).
A Free Ranks pass activates instantly and lasts 2 hours from the moment you start it. Game access, leaderboard position, and scores are not guaranteed to any particular outcome — they depend on your own play. We may limit or end free access at our discretion, including to prevent abuse.
Your category claim payment provides a listing on that category's leaderboard at the position your payment amount ranks — highest paid amount first. It does not include, and Playforrank makes no promise of, guaranteed website traffic, clicks, leads, advertising placement, conversions, search ranking benefit, or any other promotional or business outcome. Displaying your website or handle on a leaderboard is a feature of the product, not an advertising placement with guaranteed results.
A category claim activates once your payment is confirmed by our payment processor. Your position on that leaderboard can be outbid by another payment at any time — a claim does not reserve a position permanently.
Game scores must come from a human playing the game through the normal interface. Scores produced by automated scripts, exploits, or other manipulation may be removed, and the associated player identity may be permanently barred from future sessions.
Category claim payments are processed by Polar, a third-party payment provider. Playforrank does not receive or store your full payment card details.
Playforrank is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that the games or leaderboards will be free of errors, or that scores or session state will never be lost due to technical issues. We will make reasonable efforts to fix confirmed technical problems affecting paid category claims.
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
